He Proves Once Again He's No Good In The Sack....

When I go on vacation, I really do go on vacation! Ahem....took the family back to the Heartland to a big, crazy reunion in ND that featured me in a sack race! Got to drive around in the middle of nowhere on some gravel roads showing the kids the towns their grandparents grew up in: Maddock, (pop. 1,000) Pembina (pop. 700) and St. John (pop. 250). Saw some great old architecture (interesting churches) and the family castle. Bought an antler whistle. Sent oldest kids to International Music Camp, where I was once a student and later a teacher, though some years ago now. Gained 8 pounds, at least! Got back just in time to start the new job: "Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me" at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre!
